Because I need therapy。 🤷🏽‍♀️The relationship growth for Ayla and Kadon during book 2 gave me happy brain。 All the lovings, all the cuddles, the cutesies and steeeam。 Rawr! I'm sure we really are on a path to end the series as A+K HEA but with all the meddling those sun witches have done, it feels like such a rough road to get there。 A road that will be soaked in blood, sweat, and tears and then paved with the bodies of their enemies。 Wolves and witches alike。 😏Seriously, I need book 3 yesterday。 Just a couple more things:📌If you're here reading reviews for book 2 before you've read it or even before you've read book 1。。。 tsk, tsk, tsk。 Go read it! 📌If you're sensitive to wait times and cliffhangers, make sure the next book is out before you open this。 。。。more

Having read and enjoyed the first book in the Zodiac Wolves I couldn't wait to read this next one thankfully it's an excellent continuation to the story。 I couldn't put it down there are so many surprises revealed and lots of action and so much happening! Although I should warn you that the book ends on a cliff-hanger but you can only take so much excitement can't you?The twists and turns kept me glued to my Kindle trying to guess what more the author would throw at us! Major CliffhangerI expected the cliffhanger, but it was still a doozy! I really enjoyed this book。 The plot moves fast。 I was really drawn into the action, the politics, the plotting, the battles, etc。I did feel a little frustrated with the romance aspect, which is why it’s 4 stars, instead of 5。 I guess, at this point, I am annoyed that Ayla and Kaden don’t talk to each other like adults。 It’s all guessing how the other feels。 He still keeps things from her or doesn’t bother to tell her things Major CliffhangerI expected the cliffhanger, but it was still a doozy! I really enjoyed this book。 The plot moves fast。 I was really drawn into the action, the politics, the plotting, the battles, etc。I did feel a little frustrated with the romance aspect, which is why it’s 4 stars, instead of 5。 I guess, at this point, I am annoyed that Ayla and Kaden don’t talk to each other like adults。 It’s all guessing how the other feels。 He still keeps things from her or doesn’t bother to tell her things until pretty much forced。 He still tests her。 It’s supposed to create tension, I guess, but it just makes me dislike and distrust him, even knowing he is the hero and I am supposed to root for him。 It just felt very much like the relationship was surface and still about reluctant attraction。 When he decides to go “all-in” I still didn’t like him or buy it。 Treat her like crap。 Don’t even apologize。 Then just join her in the shower because OF COURSE, she’s going to fall at your feet and let you bite her, even though you flip flop between accusations and avoiding her。 🤦🏻‍♀️And Ayla’s character is so insecure, so beaten down, that she accepts his “tests”。 She just accepts that he treats her like crap and doesn’t even recognize it as being mistreated, because he doesn’t beat her or whatever。 I guess it makes sense, as the character is written, given her history。 But it doesn’t lead me to have any particularly strong feelings for Kaden as a love interest。 The plot is strong with the Leos and Sun Witches, and I can’t believe I am saying this, but the author could honestly kill Kaden off, and I would be weirdly fine with just finishing off the series with Ayla alone defeating the bad guys and taking over the pack。 🤷🏻‍♀️ It’s a strange thing for me, because I am ALL about romance。 And I don’t “hate” Kaden’s character。 He’s not awful。 He’s just not attractive in any way beyond superficial physical stuff。 He’s written very shallow and constantly trying to protect his own feelings, even at the cost of hers, which makes him seem weak, despite all the fighting, etc。 Throwing in the former girlfriend and having him be all reactionary with her also lowered him in my eyes。 By this point, he should be able to see that woman and have it mean nothing。 I predict that the ex’s mate was killed in that last battle, and we get Eileen trying to get Kaden back in the next book。 That will tick me off, but the scene is set。 There is a lot of action here。 Continuous escalation with pretty much no downtime。 The story moves fast, for sure。 I read it through in one sitting。 The plot with the other packs, the witches, etc。 is very strong and kept my attention。 I’m looking forward to the final book, but I hope Kaden is better at being a mate than what he is here。 Because he’s pretty pathetic。 。。。more

An excellent continuation to the Zodiac Wolves story。 So many surprising thing come to light and so much action happens that I could not put the book down。 While the book ends on a cliff-hanger it needs to。 We are given so many shocks and surprises in this book that I truly did not think that it would be able to end in such a manner but it did and the reason was very, very understandable。 A recommend to all。The author sent me a free advanced copy in return for an honest review。

I liked the book but I feel like it was useless at the same time。 While there was some developments there wasn’t as much as I was hoping。

Oh look, another one sitting read from Elizabeth Briggs! I swear, it’s like she’s determined to give me gray hairs at a young age。 This book picked up right where Moon Touched left off and honestly never stopped。 I was stressed from the first page to the last, and honestly, with that ending? I’m still stressed。 I’ll be stressed until January when the next book comes out。 I absolutely adore the way that the zodiac signs impact each pack’s power, and the pack dynamics in this series are so interes Oh look, another one sitting read from Elizabeth Briggs!
